
LCCC and Time Warner Communications offer four scholarships each year to those interested in furthering their education in a communications related field. The first of these scholarships is the Anjeanette Briones Memorial Scholarship awarding a $1,500 scholarship to the most outstanding LCTV student volunteer. Eligible students most have been an LCTV volunteer to qualify.
The next scholarship is the $1,100 Traditional High School Scholarship Award for students residing in the City or Town of Lockport with plans to attend an institution of higher learning in a communications related field.
The $900 Clarence Roeseler Memorial Scholarship for students demonstrating outstanding community service.
Information about these scholarships goes out to each local high school every Spring. Please contact your school guidance counselor for additional information or call LCTV at 434-1733. An application can also be downloaded here. Applicants must submit a written statement of need, a copy of transcripts or a report card with an academic average, three letters of recommendation and evidence of application to a college or university. An interview with LCCC/ACC Scholarship Review Committee is also a part of the selection process.

Internships are available from all the Erie/Niagara region's major Universities. Internships provide valuable "hands on" experiences in real world situations through a challenging array of production experiences.
