Due to Covid-19 concerns, LCTV training has been postponed until further notice.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n LCTV offers several opportunities throughout the year for adults (18+ years or 15 years with adult) to learn the art of video production though our training classes. Anyone interested is encouraged to sign-up for a mandatory Orientation session where each class and LCTV policies will be discussed. If your goal is to produce your own television show, find a fun and exciting volunteer activity or simply learn a bit more about television; LCTV’s classes are a great introduction into the world of becoming a video maker rather than just a watcher.<\/p>\n Below are descriptions each production class as well as the cost of each class and the sessions being offered. Please remember, attending an Orientation Session is mandatory to attending any training sessions and ALL training sessions must be scheduled in advance as well as pre-paid prior to each class. Please plan ahead and pre-pay as soon as possible. Each class is a-la-carte, whereby you pick the classes you want to take. You can take them all or only one, it is up to you. A general overview of LCTV eligibility, policies and procedures, a brief history and explanation of how & why we are here as well as a question and answer session. \nEditing in Final Cut Express<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The basics of editing in Final Cut Express. Everything from importing your footage into a computer to making cuts, adding transitions, titles and effects will be covered in this introductory course.
